What do you think?
I am really lightskinned and multiracial.My mom is black and my dad is white.People always think I am a white boy even white people think I am white.When I tell people that I,m mixed with black nobody believes me.
I do have lots of white features like a long narrow nose,thin lips,very pale skin,mostly straight hair with wavy and some curly,hairy body and big ears.
Is there a way I can get people to stop thinking I am white?

well they can think whatever they want
and if they think you are white then they are the wrong ones
just explain to them you are mixed, half and half
It is direspectful for people to be thinking of you in someway you are not

i don’t think you can because people judge by what they see and not what you tell them, i believe you because your father is white and you have most of hes genes. My son is mixed also but because his daddy is black that means that he got most of his daddy’s genes he has a cappuccino skin and his daddy’s nose so i feel you. People just don’t know better than that let them think what they wanna thing you know who you are and whats in your heart

Don’t bring up the subject. Sounds like you ask people if they think you are white or black. I can’t imagine people go up to you in the street and choose your race for you. Get over it.

im halfcast and mixed race but there is a difference mixed race is the colour skin so…………….*between black and White ( Sorry IF This offends any1) half cast is your background so 1 white parent and 1 black

Just be a PERSON hon with a good soul..stop worrying bout color. YOU know who you are and what your ancestry is…explore that yourself..get to know the histories of your grandparents and great-grandparents on both of your parents sides…& most important get to know the real inside “self” of you.

I think you would be better off not worrying about what other people think you are. People are always going to believe what they want no matter what you do. instead of changing them, change yourself.
The truth is that you are neither and both. Being multiracional can be a wonderful thing. You are the bridge between the two cultures that dominant our country.

Just don’t talk about it. If you’re expecting people to consider you black then sorry, that’s not going to happen. People still judge what race you are by skin tone first and, if you have very “white” features then there’s no way you’re going to get anyone who doesn’t believe you to think otherwise. Oh, and you ARE white. You’re half black and half white. Being half of a minority doesn’t automatically make you “one of them”. People who assume this are wrong.

Who cares what ppl think! As long as you know who you are, you really shouldn’t worry about how others sees you! If you really want others to believe you are mix, just carry pictures of your family picture and show to them !
